Di Muhammad Devirzha, known his stage name Virzha (born May 12, 1990) is an Indonesian singer. He is an finalist of Indonesian Idol (season 8) which had finished in Spectacular 12.[1]

Career

2014: Indonesian Idol and Mahadewa

In January 2014, Virzha auditioned of Indonesian Idol (season 8) and admitted queue started at 2.00 PM and meeting with judge at 15.00 PM. He performing Bryan Adams' hits song "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" and passed to the next audition directly by three judges. Virzha was eliminated in Spectacular 12.[2]

On July 7, 2014, a rock band formed by Ahmad Dhani, Mahadewa, announced on Twitter that Virzha officially to became new vocalist who replacing to Judika, an runner-up of Indonesian Idol of season 2.[3] After that, his debut performances had aired by tvOne and singing three Dewa 19 songs: "Bukan Rahasia", "Satu" and "Laskar Cinta".

2014–2015: "Aku Lelakimu" and Satu

In addition as vocalist, Virzha had signed a recording deal with Alfa Records, an parent company with Warner Music Group and September 2014, he released his debut single "Aku Lelakimu" which popularized by Anang Hermansyah. The single was played simultaneously by 125 radio stations across Indonesia and written by Pongki Barata. On October 2014, the music video had launched on officially channel Alfa Records and directed by Virlanwana Langgong. In less than three months, this music video exceed one million viewers. Subsequently, Virzha earning an award of Outstanding Newcomer at the 2015 Dahsyatnya Awards due to his popularity with single.[4] Soon after that, he released his debut album Satu on February 27, 2015, under the label.[5]

In 2015, Virzha had released the religious single "Thalaal Badru Alayna" from Cahaya Bintang Ramadhan and released "Lilin Lilin Kecil" from The Great Composers, both of single from compilation album.
