Vivodi Telecom

Vivodi is a private telecom operator in Greece that offers telephone rates for OTE subscribers through call-by-call, carrier preselection or prepaid cards, and for business customers, also offering leased lines.

ADSL

Vivodi's main business is internet services, and ADSL is its main product for private customers.

Firstly, Vivodi offers ADSL lines by utilizing the unbundling of the local loop (LLU), which allows private companies to have full or shared access to the Local Loop of the customer. Thus, it offers ADSL lines with data rates up to 4 Mbit/s and ADSL2+ lines with data rates up to 20 Mbit/s in some districts of the Athens Metropolitan Area, as well as in Thessaloniki.

Vivodi also offers ADSL nationally, as an ISP on OTE's ADSL network, with data rates up to 2 Mbit/s (which used to be OTE's maximum).

Although it is a relatively new player in the market, the company has acquired about 15% of the Greek ADSL subscribers.

VoIP

Vivodi offers a VoIP service, DSLphone, to all its ADSL over LLU customers, thus giving them the opportunity to have a fixed phone without having to pay for an OTE's fixed phone line.

Triple Play

Vivodi is one of the first ISPs in the Greek market to offer triple-play services through its ADSL2+ network, currently offering up to 20 Mbit/s (there is speculation whether this is possible or just a marketing ploy as all advertising stresses that data rates are largely dependent on quality of lines in the customers area - Vivodi guarantees 4 Mbit), IPTV (the service has been incorrectly named "Vivodi CableTV", in fact, it is an IPTV-based Triple Play service) and unlimited national telephony (via VoIP) .

Business

In the business segment Vivodi offers a range of broadband services, including ADSL, ADSL2+, SDSL and VPN solutions.
