Walutomat.pl is a social currency exchange platform based in Poland. Walutomat.pl allows its users to exchange currencies at rates set by individual users. As of 2014 Walutomat.pl deals in 5 currencies: PLN, EUR, USD, GBP and CHF.
History
Walutomat.pl was established by Revelco Sp. z o.o. in November 2009 as one of the first Polish services offering online currency exchange - for several months Walutomat enjoyed first-mover advantage, as there was no major competitors on that market niche. Walutomat's unique position lasted till spring 2010 - the launch of competitive online currency exchange companies, like Cinkciarz and InternetowyKantor.[1] In 2013 Revelco Sp. z o.o. - the owner of Walutomat.pl - merged with InternetowyKantor.pl S.A. creating Currency One SA - the biggest Polish online currency exchange with about 50% market share.[2]

According to company's website the value of daily transactions on Walutomat.pl reaches 51 million PLN, and since 2009 over 90.000 users of Walutomat.pl exchanged equivalent of over 10 billion PLN.[3]
