Wang Shanshan (Chinese: 王珊珊; pinyin: Wáng Shānshān; born 27 January 1990) is a Chinese football defender who plays on the China women's national football team.

Wang Shanshan played for China's gold medal-winning team at the 2011 Summer Universiade in Shenzhen.[2] She made her senior China women's national football team debut in March 2012, versus Germany.[3] In April 2015 she scored in China's 2–1 friendly defeat by England at Academy Stadium, Manchester.[4]

At the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup, Wang Shanshan had been advertised as a defender but was deployed as a centre-forward by China's coach Hao Wei.[5] She scored in a 2–2 draw with New Zealand which secured China's qualification from the group, then hit the only goal as China beat Cameroon in the second round.
