"When" - a song by French singer Amanda Lear released in 1980 by Ariola Records.
Song information
"When" was the last single taken off Diamonds for Breakfast, released only in Sweden with "Ho fatto l'amore con me" as the B-side. Amanda Lear had also recorded Italian version of the song, "Ciao", that was included on Italian pressings of the album. The song was composed by Rainer Pietsch and Anthony Monn. Amanda Lear wrote the lyrics herself. It is an upbeat disco track, combining pop and rock elements. The single, however, was not successful and didn't chart.
Polish band 2 Plus 1 recorded the song as "More" with different lyrics. It was included on their first international album Easy Come, Easy Go, released in early 1980. The record was also produced by Rainer Pietsch.
