Wiklino [viˈklinɔ] (German Beckel) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Słupsk, within Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) north-east of Słupsk (Stolp) and 99 km (62 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk (Danzig).
Before 1945 the area of Farther Pomerania, where the village is located, was part of Germany.[2][3] On March 8, 1945, the region was occupied by the Red Army, and after the end of World War II the area was placed under Polish administration by the Potsdam Agreement under territorial changes demanded by the Soviet Union. Germans fled or were expelled and replaced with Poles expelled from the Polish areas annexed by the Soviet Union.
The village has a population of 200.
