Edward Meade
William Edward Meade (24 February 1832 – 12 October 1912)[1] was a Bishop of Cork, Cloyne and Ross.[2][3]
Educated at Trinity College, Dublin,[4] becoming a Trinity Master of Arts {MA(Dubl.)}, he was ordained in 1856. He was Rector of Ardtrea and then Archdeacon of Armagh[5] before his elevation to the Episcopate.[6] At some point, he became a Doctor of Divinity (DD).
