William Grindal

William Grindal (died 1548), was an English scholar. He was a tutor to Queen Elizabeth and a pupil and protégé of Roger Ascham at St John's College, Cambridge.[1] He died of the plague.[2] Grindal was Elizabeth's main Latin and Greek teacher during her younger years.[3]
