William Harrison Fetridge
William Harrison Fetridge (1907-1989) served as Vice President of the BSA, President of the United State Support Fund for International Scouting, and the Chairman of the Finance Planning Committee of the World Organization of the Scout Movement.
Fetridge was a mechanical engineer by training, a destroyer lieutenant during World War II, a maritime writer and Chairman of Darnell Corporation.
In 1973, Fetridge was awarded the 77th Bronze Wolf, the only distinction of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, awarded by the World Scout Committee for exceptional services to world Scouting.[1] He was one of only six men hold all four top-tier Scouting awards, the Bronze Wolf, the Silver Buffalo the Silver Antelope, and the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award.
