Wilson is an upcoming 2017 American comedy-drama film directed by Craig Johnson and written by Daniel Clowes, based on the graphic novel of the same name by Clowes. The film stars Woody Harrelson, Laura Dern, Isabella Amara, Judy Greer, and Cheryl Hines. Filming began on June 25, 2015, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The film is scheduled to be released on March 24, 2017, by Fox Searchlight Pictures.
Premise
A lonely, neurotic and hilariously honest middle-aged man (Woody Harrelson) reunites with his estranged wife (Laura Dern) and meets his teenage daughter (Isabella Amara) for the first time.

Production
The film rights were originally purchased by Fox Searchlight for Alexander Payne to direct.[1] Filming was slated to begin in June 2015 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.[2] On June 25, 2015, Judy Greer and Cheryl Hines joined the cast, and the production had begun filming.[3]
Release
The film was originally set to be released on March 3, 2017,[4] but was pushed back to March 24.[5]
