The Winnipeg Bus Terminal is an intercity bus station, located beside the Winnipeg International Airport in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The terminal moved there in August 2009 from its downtown location at Portage Avenue and Balmoral Street, where it had been for 45 years.[1] The new terminal is a single story structure with separate areas for freight and passengers.[1]
The terminal is a hub for Greyhound, with buses originating from and travelling to Vancouver; Edmonton; Calgary; Medicine Hat; and Toronto.
The previous terminal building was built in 1964 and covers 38,000 square feet (3,500 m2). It shares space with a hotel and apartment complex.
