The Wombat Operating System is a high-performance virtualized Linux marketed by Open Kernel Labs, a spin-off of National ICT Australia (NICTA) - Australia’s prestigious Center of Excellence for Information and Communications Technology's Embedded, Real Time, Operating System Program.
Wombat is a de-privileged (para-virtualised) Linux running on top of L4/Iguana.[1]
