Xander Mobus

Xander Mobus is an American voice actor for video games, best known for voicing the announcer of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Mobus is to voice the protagonist of the English translation of Persona 5.

Career

Mobus first major voice role in a video game was for the 2012 indie game Dust: An Elysian Tail. He's also been the actor with the most roles on the popular web series Death Battle, in which he's voiced Lion-O from Thundercats, Robocop, Wolverine from Marvel's X-Men, and Agumon from the Digimon series.

In 2014, Mobus took on the role as announcer and the characters Master Hand and Crazy Hand in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, following up Jeff Manning, Dean Harrington, and Pat Cashman from previous Super Smash Bros. games.[1] Mobus voice acted various comedic requests through social media during this period, such as singing the Pokémon Theme in the Super Smash Bros. announcer's voice.[2][3][4]

In 2015, Mobus voiced the character Christo in Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance, and he is to voice the protagonist character in Persona 5, which will see an English-language release in 2017.[5]
