Life

He studied philosophy and German. Xaver Bayer is a freelance writer in Vienna.

In 2000 he founded the Internet platform die flut, one of the first digital literature collectives. In addition to his novels, stories and plays, he has written several texts on artistic works, such as for Martha Jungwirth, G.R.A.M. and David Schnell; He also co-wrote the screenplay for the film The gloss of the day by Rainer Frimmel and Tizza Covi, who was awarded with the Max Ophüls Prize.
