Yamaha Golf Car is golf cart product line produced by Yamaha Motor Company. Yamaha golf cars are manufactured at two factories, the Kakegawa factory in Japan, and the Newnan factory in the United States.
Gas Mileage
Yamaha gas cars get 45 MPG.[1]
Batteries
Yamaha is the only golf car manufacturer that uses Trojan T-875 batteries as standard equipment.[2]
Suspension
Independent Front Suspension is standard on all Yamaha golf cars.[3] QuieTech EFI has independent rear suspension (IRS) on fleet and personal transportation vehicles.[4]
Drive2
In 2016 Yamaha Golf Car released the Drive2 line-up of cars. The Drive2 includes two power train options for gas, QuieTech EFI and Drive2 Carb, and two power train options for electric, PowerTech AC and Drive2 DC.[5]
