Yanaqucha (Quechua yana black, qucha lake,[2] "black lake", hispanicized spelling Yanacocha) is a 5,025 m (16,486 ft) high mountain in the Willkapampa mountain range in the Andes of Peru. It is located in the Cusco Region, Canchis Province, Checacupe District. Yanaqucha lies southwest of the glaciated area of Rit'ipampa (Quechua for "snow plain"), north of the Wanqani River (Huancane).[1][3][3]
