Yogyakarta International School (YIS) is a secular, co-educational, international school in Yogyakarta, Java, Indonesia founded in 1989; making it Yogyakarta's most established and only international school with expatriate teachers for core classes. YIS adheres to the International Primary Curriculum[1] from Kindergarten to grade 6, and Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) for grades 7 to 12. The school population is around 100 students. The school is affiliated with the East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS).[3] [1]
