Yukaghir Pon

The Yukaghir are an ethnic minority of Russia and the Ukraine. The Supreme Deity of the Yukaghir is called Pon, meaning "Something." [1] Pon controlled all visible phenomena of nature such as the transition from day to night or the rain.[2]
