Zettagrid Pty Ltd is a cloud computing infrastructure as a service (IaaS) provider. The company's management, architecture and apps divisions operate from Perth, Western Australia with a sales office in Sydney, New South Wales.
History
Zettagrid Pty Ltd was launched in May 2010 by the Applications Development division of ZettaServe Pty Ltd. Zettagrid launched offering VMware vSphere virtual private server hosting from Perth, Western Australia. Nicholas Power was appointed General Manager in June 2010. In June 2011, Nicholas Power stepped down as General Manager and was succeeded by Nicki Pereira. Nicholas Power went on to manage the merger of Highway 1 and Global Dial Pty Ltd into the Zetta Group of companies. In July 2011 Zettagrid launched a virtual data centre service based upon VMware vCloud. In September 2011, Zettagrid expanded establishing a second availability Zone in Sydney, New South Wales. In November 2012, Zettagrid established its third availability zone infrastructure in Melbourne, Victoria. In September 2013, Nicki Pereira was appointed CTO of the Zetta Group and the Nicholas Power was reappointed General Manager and VP of Zettagrid.
Business
Zettagrid is a strict infrastructure as a services (IaaS) provider. They utilise third party partners and customer IT departments to deliver managed services on their platform.
On 20 March 2015, Zettagrid was awarded the Veeam Cloud Provider Partner of the Year[1]
On 15 February 2015, Zettagrid was accepted into Australian Federal Governments Whole-of-Government Cloud Services Panel.[2]
In July 2012, Zettagrid was awarded Veeam ProPartner of the Year.[3]
In October 2012, Zettagrid was appointed to Australian Federal Government Data Centre as a Service (DCaaS) Multi Use List[4]
Zettagrid is Australia's first VMware vCloud Powered Service Provider.[5][6]
Zettagrid is nominated at VMware PEX 2013 for ANZ Service Provider Partner of the Year.[7]
