Zinda Tilismath is age old Unani herbal medicine, which is used for treating many common ailments like cold, coughs, throat pain, body pain, stomach disorders, ear pain, tooth pain and many more.[1] It is an over the counter drug, which is made from selected herbs. The medicine is said to have no side effects due to its herbal composition and is based on the Unani concept of medicine. It’s available across India in many medical and general shops.[2]

History

It was invented in Hyderabad, in 1920 by a well-known Hakeem Mohd Moizuddin Farooqui. The translation of the name of Zindatilismath in Urdu language means “Living Magic”. It is manufactured at the family owned company called "Karkhana Zinda Tilimath," located in Quadri Bagh, Amberpet, Hyderabad.

Ingredients

The five main ingredients in Zindatilismath are:[3][4]

  1. Eucalyptus Oil ( Neel Gond ka tail)
  2. Camphor( Sattay Caphoor)
  3. Menthol: (Sattay Pudina)
  4. Thymol( Sattay Ajwain)
  5. Alkanet root (Rangbasa/Ratanjot)

Not only to get relief and treatment from common ailments like cold, flu and cough, but in recent times it has been observed and experienced by many users of Zindatilismath that it also gives symptomatic relief from symptoms of chicken guinea, swine flu and dengue fever.
