Ásdís Hjálmsdóttir (born 28 October 1985) is an Icelandic javelin thrower.
Biography
She represented her country at both 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games and has also competed at the 2006, 2010, 2012 and 2014 European Championships and 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015 World Championships.
Her personal best throw is 62.77 metres, achieved on 7 August 2012 in London during qualifying for the Olympic Games event. This is the current Icelandic record holder. She is coached by Terry McHugh.
