The Lancashire Senior Competition was won by Broughton Rangers and the Yorkshire Senior Competition by Batley.[1]

Oldham beat Hunslet 19-9 in the Challenge Cup final played in Fallowfield Stadium, Manchester in front of a crowd of 15,763.[2]
