1965 Norwegian Football Cup

Skeid became Norwegian Cup winners when they beat Frigg 2–1 on the 7 November. There were 3 finals in 1965. The first two ended as ties. The goal scorers for Skeid were Terje Gulbrandsen and Pål Sætrang. For Frigg, the goal scorer was Erik Schønfeldt.
8 990 spectators attended Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo. The referee was Sverre Eugen Olsen. This was Skeid's seventh Norwegian Cup.

First Final- 24 October. 2–2. Trygve Bornø scored for Skeid after 60 minutes and Kai Sjøberg scored after 114 minutes. For Frigg, Tore Fjeldstad scored in the 14th minute and Arne Bergersen scored in the 111th minute. 18 821 spectators attended at Ullevaal. The referee was Finn Bolstad.

Second final- 31 October. 1–1. The goal scorer for Skeid was Pål Sætrang and scored in the 75th minute. The goal scorer for Frigg was Per Pettersen who scored in the 25th minute. 8 826 spectators attended Ullevaal. The referee was Rolf Hansen.

Skeid's winning squad: Kjell Kaspersen, Ragnar Næss, Kjell Wangen, Jan "Jonas" Gulbrandsen, Frank Olafsen, Finn Thorsen, Erik Mejlo, Per Egil Bjørnsen, Terje Gulbrandsen, Trygve Bornø, Kai Sjøberg, Pål Sætrang, Terje Kristoffersen.

Frigg's squad: Ebbe Gysler, Anders Svela, Tore Børrehaug, Jon Birch-Aune, Åge Solvang, Erik Hagen, Ole Erik Hansen, Tore Fjeldstad, Per Pettersen, Arne Bergersen and Erik Schønfeldt.
