2015–16 Şırnak clashes
The 2015–16 Şırnak clashes are clashes between law enforcement in Turkey and the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Group of Communities in Kurdistan (KCK), People's Defence Forces (HPG), Patriotic Revolutionary Youth Movement (YDG-H), and the Civil Protection Units (YPS), in the Şırnak Province of Turkey, which has been ongoing since August 2015.[1]
Many civilians died in the clashes.[2]
