The 2016–17 St. Bonaventure Bonnies women's basketball team represented the St. Bonaventure University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Bonnies, led by first year head coach Jesse Fleming, played their home games at Reilly Center and are members of the Atlantic 10 Conference.

201617 media

All non-televised Bonnies home games will air on the A-10 Digital Network.

It is unclear whether or not the team will continue to air on WGWE, as the station underwent a change in management in June 2016 when Mike "Smitty" Smith, the Bonnies' play-by-play voice and the station's founding manager, retired from radio. The rights could be placed back up for bids; in addition to WGWE, Colonial Media and Entertainment (whose stations carried games in 2011–12), Community Broadcasters, LLC (who currently carry the men's team on WPIG) or Sound Communications (whose predecessors carried games in 2013–14 before losing a bidding war to WGWE) could bid on the rights.
