36th Filmfare Awards
The 36th Filmfare Awards were held in 1991. Sunny Deol starrer Rajkumar Santoshi's action film Ghayal dominated the awards, winning in many major and minor categories, including Sunny Deol's and Rajkumar Santoshi's first wins in the Best Actor and Best Director categories respectively.
