44th Filmfare Awards

The 44th Filmfare Awards were held on February 21, 1999, in Mumbai India. Karan Johar's directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai dominated the awards, including a sweep of the major acting categories. Mani Ratnam's Dil Se.. was the other big winner.
