Gold is a commercial radio station based in Bendigo/Central Victoria. It is currently part of Grant Broadcasters. Formally branded as Easymix, the station broadcasts across the majority of Central Victoria including Bendigo, Ballarat, Maryborough, Castlemaine and Daylesford on 1071AM. Gold also broadcasts on 98.3 FM which covers a 10-25 kilometre radius of the Bendigo region. Contrary to popular belief, Gold was not 3CV. The name 3CV was relinquished when it moved to the FM band and became Star FM. Gold rebranded from Easymix which was rebranded from Easy Listening after the owner of 3BO FM and 3CV sold off its 1071 AM service (without the name 3CV) when it was granted an FM licence.
