Adenomera diptyx is a species of frog in the family Leptodactylidae, the southern frogs. It is native to Argentina, Bolivia, and Paraguay.[1]

This is a common species. It is adaptable, living in many types of moist and wet habitat. It is sometimes even seen in gardens. It also occurs in protected areas and is not considered to be a threatened species.[1]
