Akarsu is a village in Tarsus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. At 36°51′N 34°58′E / 36.850°N 34.967°E / 36.850; 34.967 it is situated in Çukurova (Cilicia of the antiquity) plains at the east bank of Berdan River.
