Andrew East (born September 17, 1991) is an American football long snapper who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Vanderbilt.
Professional career
Kansas City Chiefs
After going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, he signed with the Chiefs in May 2015.[1] He was released from the Chiefs on August 31, 2015.[2]
Seattle Seahawks
He signed a future free agent contract with the Seattle Seahawks in January 2016.[3] He was waived on March 24, 2016.[4]
Oakland Raiders
He was signed by the Oakland Raiders on April 5, 2016.[5] He was waived on August 29, 2016.[6]
Personal life
East is married to Olympic gymnastics champion Shawn Johnson. East and Johnson were engaged on July 24, 2015 at Wrigley Field during a Chicago Cubs game,[7] and were married on April 16, 2016.[8]
