Anthony Purpura (born November 11, 1986, in Lawrence, Massachusetts) is an American rugby union player who props for the USA Eagle XV side. He was selected to tour with the USA Eagles squad for the Autumn 2010 tour of Europe. Purpura plays club rugby for Boston Rugby Club and currently serves as an assistant coach at Boston College. His international debut in June 2010 was against Russia.
Other Club affiliations include University of Maine and Mid Canterbury of New Zealand.[1]
