The Asian Women's Volleyball Championship is the official competition for senior women's national volleyball teams of Asia and Oceania, organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). The initial gap between championships was four years, but since 1987 they have been awarded every two years. The current champion is China, which won its thirteenth title at the 2015 tournament in home soil.
