In Greek mythology, the Aurai or Aurae /ˈaʊər/ are the winged nymphs of the breezes, and the daughters of the Anemoi:[1]

The most well-known Aurae is Chione; a daughter of Boreas (the North Wind); Chione is also a goddess of Winter(time) and snow.
