Bagir Manan (born 6 October 1941 in Kalibalangan, Lampung) has been chairman of the Indonesian Press Council during the terms 2010–2013[1] and 2013–2016.[2] He previously served as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Indonesia from 2001 to 2008.[3] He is also professor of constitutional law at Padjadjaran University.
