The Lined conger[2] (Bathycongrus guttulatus) is an eel in the family Congridae (conger/garden eels).[3] It was described by Albert Günther in 1887, originally under the genus Congromuraena.[4] It is a marine, deep water-dwelling eel which is known from the western Indian Ocean to the southwestern Pacific Ocean, including Indonesia and Hawaii. It dwells at a depth range of 270-1270 metres.[3]
