Baucina is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Palermo in the Italian region of Sicily, located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southeast of Palermo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,003 and an area of 24.4 square kilometres (9.4 sq mi).[1]
Baucina borders the following municipalities: Bolognetta, Caccamo, Casteldaccia, Ciminna, Ventimiglia di Sicilia, Villafrati.
