Borja San Emeterio Díaz (born 16 March 1997), simply known as Borja, is a Spanish footballer who plays for Sevilla Atlético as a right back.

Football career

Born in Sierra de Ibio, Mazcuerras, Cantabria,[1] Borja joined Racing de Santander's youth setup in 2007, aged ten.[2] He made his senior debuts with the reserves in the 2014–15 campaign, in Tercera División.

Borja played his first match as a professional on 16 November, starting in a 0–0 away draw against CD Lugo for the Segunda División championship.[3]

On 16 August 2016, Borja and his brother moved to another reserve team, signing a three-year contract with Sevilla Atlético in the second tier.[4]

Personal life

Borja's twin brother, Fede, is also a footballer. A midfielder, he too was groomed in Racing's youth setup.
