BSQUARE Corporation is an Internet of Things (IoT) solution provider, technology distributor and system integrator headquartered in Bellevue, Washington that supports OEMs, ODMs and Enterprises with professional development services and solutions. Bsquare is listed on the NASDAQ exchange. As of 2015, the company has approximately 250 employees, worldwide.
History
Bsquare was founded in 1994 by William and Elizabeth Baxter.
In 2008, Bsquare acquired TestQuest, expanding the Company’s testing automation capabilities.
In 2010, Bsquare announced the Company’s expansion of sales, support and development services in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
In 2011, the company expanded its European Operations and a new European distribution agreement with Microsoft that gave Bsquare rights to distribute the entire Microsoft Windows Embedded portfolio in the United Kingdom and Germany.
In 2013, Bsquare reached an agreement with QNX to distrute QNX operating system licensing in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
