Byrd D. Crudup (September 16, 1899 – March 12, 1960)[1] was the fourth head football coach for the North Carolina Central University Eagles located in Durham, North Carolina and he held that position for three seasons, from 1929 until 1931. His coaching record at North Carolina Central was 8 wins, 15 losses, and 3 ties.[2]
