Cariño is one of the 35 barangay of the municipality of Paniqui. It is situated along Mc Arthur Highway it is the 5th largest barangay in terms of Area and population. In 2010 it has a population of 4,554.[2] 90% of the area arable and the remaining 10% is built-up areas and grassland.

Transportation

Cariño is an accessible barangay and it is situated along the Mac Arthur Highway. It is 143 km away from Manila. Buses, Jeepneys and other PUV's are available in the area. Large vehicles and other private vehicles can also pass in the area. A railway system - PNR also passes in this area but it was no longer functional.
