Carolyn M. Gilman (born July 17, 1939) is an American politician from Maine. Gilman, a Republican, served in the Maine State Senate from 2002-2004, representing her residence in Westbrook, Maine and nearby areas of Cumberland County.[1]
She was defeated for re-election in 2004 by Democrat Phil Bartlett after redistricting changed the district.[2]
Personal
Gilman earned a A.A. from Westbrook College in 1959.[1] Married to Robert W Gilman. Carolyn and Robert have five children. Jennifer Parent of Westbrook, ME. Robert W. Gilman Jr. of Houston, TX. who spent his youth spending time with Ron Doyon at the black bridge in Westbrook, Maine. Timothy Gilman of South Portland ME. spent time in his youth working with Billy Jerome programming TRS 80 computers. Matthew Gilman of Winslow ME. and Benjamin Gilman of Gorham, ME.
