Carter Jones (born February 27, 1989) is an American former professional road racing cyclist, who as of 2015 rides for Team Giant–Alpecin.[1] During the season, Jones resides in Boulder, Colorado.[2]
Jones joined Optum–Kelly Benefit Strategies for the 2014 season, after his previous team – Bissell – folded at the end of the 2013 season.[1]
On June 24, 2016, Jones announced the termination of his contract with Team Giant–Alpecin, and his retirement from professional cycling, citing injuries sustained in accidents during the 2015 and 2016 seasons.[3]
