The China Science and Technology Museum (Chinese: 中国科学技术馆) is a major science museum established in 1988 in Beijing, China.

The museum contains two separate buildings, Hall I & II. The Hall I was completed in 1988, and the museum exhibits ancient Chinese technology such as astronomical devices, the compass, gunpowder, bronze smelting and casting, and so forth.[1] Hall II, completed in 2000, displays topics concerning astronautics, energy, communications; material science and mechanics; information technology; life science; and environmental science.[1]

Transportation

The museum is accessible within walking distance to the southeast of South Gate of Forest Park Station of Beijing Subway.
