Christopher "Chris" Kane (born 5 September 1994) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays for St Johnstone.

Born in Edinburgh, Kane grew up in Midlothian attending Beeslack Community High School in Penicuik.

He made his debut for St Johnstone against Kilmarnock on 9 November 2013.[1]

In January 2014, Kane signed for Scottish Championship club Dumbarton on a one-month loan.[2] He scored on his debut as Dumbarton beat Greenock Morton 2–0 on 4 January 2014.[3] On 31 January 2014, his loan was extended until the end of the season.[4]

On 29 August 2014, Kane returned to Dumbarton on loan, agreeing a deal until January 2015.[5] He scored the winner on his second début for the Sons against Livingston [6]

On 24 May 2015, Kane scored his first ever goal for St Johnstone, the winner in a 1–0 win over Aberdeen which secured a fourth-placed finish for the Saints.[7]
