Christian Jensen Jr. (November 17, 1868 – January 20, 1958) was born in Ephraim, Utah, later immigrating to Canada, where he became a successful businessman and farmer and rancher in rural Southern Alberta. He was instrumental in establishing several of the leading agricultural organizations in Alberta of the early 20th century. The Magrath Irrigation District and the Government of the Alberta named the first structure in the St. Mary's River Development after Jensen—The Jensen Dam and Jensen Reservoir.[1]

Son of Christian Jensen and Barbara Christensen Jensdatter, of Redmond, Sevier County, Utah.[17][18]

Christian[19] and Allie had five children. Afton (Daivd) Keeler, born Utah; Cleo (Lloyd) Ririe, Lalovee (Lasca) Jensen,[20] Allie (Rondo) Robinson, and Beatrice (Ray) Harker, all born in Alberta.
