Clásico Nacional Hondureño

El Clásico Nacional (The National Classic) is a Honduran football match played between C.D. Olimpia and Real Club Deportivo España. The Classic began in September 1928 when C.D. Olimpia, at that time Central Zone champion, won its three match final series against Real Club Deportivo España, champion of the North. This event created the fierce National Classic.
