D.A.V Public School, Balasore, established 1995(Hindi: डी.ए.वी पब्लिक स्कूल,बालेश्वर,स्थापित- १९९५ )[2](Odia: ଡି.ଏ.ଭି ପବ୍ଲିକ୍ ସ୍କୁଲ୍, ବାଲେଶ୍ବର,ସ୍ତାପିତ-୧୯୯୫) is a self-funded private school located in the city Balasore, Odisha.It belongs to the D.A.V College Managing Committee,[3] which owns 600 educational institutes in India and abroad. The trust was established in 1886 inspired by the ideas of Maharshi Dayananda Saraswati.

Curriculum
There are academic supervisors to ensure that the classes are running smoothly and both the students and the parents are satisfied. The teacher becomes the group coordinator initiating work, nurturing students without the phobia of examinations and homework. Development of oral and written expression is emphasized. Home assignments are not a carry-over of class work, but oriented towards honing individual talents.
The school has students enrolled from nursery to class 12th.

- Fawn colour socks and brown shoes for all. White shoes (Beta canvas) and white socks for PT-cum house uniform.

- Black slacks (3/4 tights) for Yoga and dance classes.
- White apron for lab uses and track suits for the Physical Education students.

House system
The students of Std. V to XII are divided into 4 houses after the names of great philosophers:
The leaders from all houses of Std. VII, VIII, IX and XI form the school cabinet which takes an oath in the investiture Ceremony organized at the beginning of the session. The school cabinet comprises the school leader, assistant school leader, house leader, assistant house leader and house representatives. The nominated leaders lead the house to participate in curricular and co-curricular activities under the guidance of House Co-ordinator and house teachers. The best house is awarded at the end of academic session.
