Daeguia

Daeguia is a genus in the phylum Proteobacteria (Bacteria).[1]

Etymology

The name Daeguia derives from:
New Latin feminine gender noun Daeguia, pertaining to Daegu, the location of the textile dye works from which the type strain of the type species was isolated.[2]

Species

The genus contains a single species,[2] namely D. caeni ( Yoon et al. 2008, (Type species of the genus).; Latin genitive case noun caeni, of sludge.)[3]
