Dan Riccio is Apple's senior vice president of Hardware Engineering, reporting to CEO Tim Cook. Dan leads the Mac, iPhone, iPad and iPod engineering teams which have delivered dozens of breakthrough products.[1][2]
Biography
Dan joined Apple in 1998 as vice president of Product Design and in 2010 was named vice president of iPad Hardware Engineering. Dan has been a key contributor to most of the company's hardware over his career and was instrumental in all of Apple's iPad products since the first generation iPad was introduced.
Prior to Apple, Dan worked at Compaq[3] as Senior Manager of Mechanical Engineering where he was responsible for the mechanical design of Compaq's Consumer PC products. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
